A little about me:
I was born and raised in Tucson, Az which is where I am teaching this class. Go Wildcats! I am a mother to one very bright and beautiful daughter, Molly. I have been married for 5 years to my husband for 5 years and during that time we moved across the country twice, had a daughter, and decided that I would stay home with Molly and go back to school full time to work toward my dream position: your teacher!
My Professional life:
In my years before teaching I worked in Mortgage for a Bank based out of Nebraska. This was a wonderful learning experience but I am very happy to be teaching now. I then became a stay at home mom for about 2 1/2 years while I worked toward my Bachelors in Elementary Education and now I am here with you.
My teaching philosophy:
My teaching philosophy is simple. I believe my role is to provide a stimulating and fun educational environment where students are pushed to succeed. I believe that every student is unique and wonderful. I believe that it is my role to help each student express their unique style and help all of my classrooms to collaborate and be the best they can be. I believe that a classroom should be fun and inviting, while also a structured learning environment. I believe that this is my calling in life and I will bring the best out of every single student that I can.
